Anne Randolph

Anne Randolph from Ireland, now living and working in Wicklow is a singer of contemporary folk and Celtic songs which she has sourced throughout her life from old teachers, folklore and other musicians.

Anne selects and sings songs that touch the heart and have a strong story to tell as ultimately this is what all  singer’s do– tell the stories. She has found a rich source of material in the works of early Irish and Celtic writers such as Thomas Moore, W B Yeats, and Robbie Burns partnering these with the strong folk and blues tunes of the 60’s and beyond, singing the songs of such artists as Joni Mitchell, Joan Baez, Leonard Cohen, Bob Dylan, and more current artists such as Mick Hanly, Keith Donald, Iris DeMent, Natalie Merchant among others.
